In Trutnov we handed over a 6 × 3 m module that now houses the owner's new hair salon. She no longer wanted to pay ever-increasing rent, so she built her own salon right next to her house — with a very interesting design and everything she needs for her work.
We prepared the interior exactly to measure: the hot and cold water supply and the drain for the washing chair lead to a precisely marked spot.
Insulation we didn't skimp on
- The module stands in the Krkonoše mountains, so we proposed thicker insulation from the start
- 120 mm PIR in the walls
- 120 mm PIR in the roof
- 200 mm PIR in the floor (2 × 100 mm)
- Fully welded steel frame 100 × 50 × 3 mm and a reinforced floor
- Hörmann aluminium windows and doors with triple glazing
Warmth and cooling under control
- Toshiba 3 kW air conditioning controlled via Wi-Fi from a phone
- Preparation for a ceiling infrared panel — economical radiant heating that takes up no space on walls or floor
Other details
- Increased interior height of 260 cm sloping to 250 cm
- Geberit WC with ROCKO cladding, a 50 l water heater and a heated towel rail with a thermostat
- Preparation for a kitchenette
- Facade cassettes in a dark walnut finish and an anthracite parapet
- 2× Kanlux outdoor lights at the main entrance from the street
- Gutter system running around the corner
A note on the base: the module stands on compacted gravel only — the cheapest base option. We fine-tuned it to a perfect level with spacer rubber. A concrete slab isn't always necessary.
